Why B Programme
Bringing together responsible business to create greater impact
x+why are proud to have partnered with B Lab UK to create the Why B Programme, designed to motivate businesses as they complete their B Impact Assessment (BIA), with the support of dedicated B leaders and trainees, a network of peers, and an inspiring environment in which to meet and work.
A group of 10-20 companies completing the B Impact Assessment together over a two month period with the help of B Leaders. These sessions will be hosted at x+why, two afternoons a month.
They will give attendees the opportunity to understand their impact, improve it, have fun and create long term impact within their company, as well as meet and network with like-minded businesses and CEO's.
Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. B Corps are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
The B Impact Assessment is the most credible and rigorous tool a company can use to measure it's impact. It is a series of questions, which to help learn how to build a better business - for your workers, community and the environment. The Assessment is a powerful business planning tool and useful lens to look at your company through - whether you plan to apply for certification or not.
Who should apply:
Any CEO interested in understanding why social impact matters
Any CEO interested in becoming a certified B Corporation or just assessing their impact
Any CEO who wants to network and do it in a fun and interactive way
