As the covid related uncertainty continues, we wanted to outline the 10 ways in which we're keeping our spaces open and safe for those who can't #WFH. Whether you are returning on a day pass, joining a team in a new full-time office, or dipping your toe into the hybrid workplace model - we are here to help and support you.

All of our spaces continue to have a fresh and contemporary design, with a diverse range of areas to safely connect, present and collaborate. Reach out anytime if you have questions and rest assured that if you need a space to work from, we're here for you. We hope you're staying safe and well, no matter where you are!

1.Cycle Storage

{{divider}}

We are sure that a lot of you are taking this opportunity to mix up your commute and avoid the tube. For the cyclists amongst you, don’t forget that we have bike stores available for you to lock up your bike during the day. Speak to your community team if you are unsure how to access this.

{{divider}}

Our spaces come equipped with secure cycle storage and on-site showers for cyclists. Showers and changing rooms are fully stocked with soap, towels, GHDs, hair dryers, and lockers so you can rest assured that your gear stays safe until you’re ready to return home.

2. Masks And Monitoring Available

{{divider}}

While masks are no longer mandatory, they’re still cool - and we have plenty available on site for those that need to pick up a few extra disposables during the day.

{{divider}}

We also ask that all members and visitors be vigilant in monitoring their health and reporting any symptoms. Common measurements to take note of include: temperature (37.8 degrees celcius or above), persistent cough or breathing difficulties, a change to your sense of smell or taste.

{{divider}}

If you show any of the above symptoms then please do the following: return home and inform the general manager of your space, follow self-isolation guidelines, get tested as soon as possible, update the team with any information relevant to tracing your interactions.

3. Lots Of Sanitiser

{{divider}}

Plenty of sanitiser is available in each of our locations, so please feel free to wipe down desks before and after use, as well as sanitising hands and equipment on entry. We have newly installed wall-mounted sanitiser stations throughout the entire building in all of our spaces.

4. Staff To Help

{{divider}}

Each of our spaces still have plenty of staff available on-site to help with any concerns or queries you may have around the new COVID regulations and safely returning to work.

{{divider}}

All of our site teams are experienced in implementing and managing our COVID-19 health and safety measures. They are also trained and ready to conduct temperature checks for all visitors and guests.

5. Regular Cleaning

{{divider}}

Our cleaning schedules have been increased to ensure that all spaces are regularly sanitised throughout the day, in accordance with the new recommended guidelines.

{{divider}}

All communal areas and meeting rooms are cleaned after every use, and the cleaning team are circulating throughout the day to check sanitiser, soap, hand towel, and sanitation levels. If you have any problems or spot any issues, please reach out to them, or to a member of the community team.

6. Fresh Air

{{divider}}

Our BREEM certified spaces offer plenty of space, natural lighting, and eco-friendly ventilation methods to keep all areas healthy and fresh throughout the day.

{{divider}}

All x+why buildings have fresh air handling systems (as well as AC) to avoid the need for opening windows, which can be especially cold in the winter. To support the return to work we will be turning up our fresh air systems by 50% in accordance with the government recommendations, until the pandemic is under better control and the vaccine roll out is complete.

7. Outdoor Spaces

{{divider}}

We know that having access to green spaces is a necessity for wellbeing, pandemic or no pandemic. That’s why each of our locations have access to the outdoors - from courtyards and gardens to balconies and rooftop views. Please feel free to use the outdoor spaces to work, meet, chat and enjoy the weather.

8. Private Rooms

{{divider}}

If you’d feel more comfortable having your own space instead of a shared desk, all private rooms are still available and can be booked via concierge or through your membership app - we bet you can’t wait for your first non-zoom meeting!

{{divider}}

9. 24/7 Access

{{divider}}

Members receive 24/7 access passes to all spaces, offering a convenient and flexible way to escape the kitchen countertop. All members sign a COVID return to work form to acknowledge that they are healthy and up to date on the latest guidelines.

{{divider}}

Visitors may receive a QR code that they can scan at front of house for a contactless checkin. If visitors arrive without a face covering, they will be issued a disposable mask which they will be asked to wear at all times when in the communal spaces.

{{divider}}

10. Seating Options

{{divider}}

Seating options are available as normal, with social distancing guidelines currently in place to support a positive and safe workspace environment experience.

{{divider}}

Please maintain social distance protocols, wear a mask in communal areas and when moving around the site, and reduce possible surface to person transmission.
