I love the spirit of x+why when you walk through the doors. Everyone is always welcoming, happy and smiling. It’s a very driven and supportive place, where there’s a continual dialogue with a diverse array of people running other businesses. I love the overall positive energy that stems from bringing people together who are on the same mission but achieving it in their own industries. It feels homely and warm, we have our sporting community and now we have our business family too.

We love the design of x+why and being around others that are making something happen. There’s something about being around that energy that pushes you harder and makes you feel more motivated. It’s been great to get away from working from home and get into a space that’s a creative environment which can get your inspiration flowing. It’s got a good mix of work and play and we love the bar as well – there’s a relaxed vibe where we can work hard and get stuff done but then chill with a couple of beers after work.

The x+why team are absolutely wonderful and have looked after us all at Buzz 16 brilliantly. Nothing is too much trouble, and they often go above and beyond to ensure we have a smooth-running operation in our offices. Our experience of x+why has been exceptional and that’s mainly down to the people and their positive, can-do attitude, as well as the outstanding building and offices of course!

The facilities on the first floor are fantastic, with open spaces to use as breakout areas or to have lunch to the confidential pods for private calls or team catch ups, the complimentary fruit, hot and cold drinks are an added touch that make the environment more versatile for tenants. The décor is modern and the real plants make it a pleasure to walk through the office and enjoy being in the building. The staff are fantastic and the team based on the first floor are always eager to help with any queries that are put to them.

The eighteenth offers a wonderful place for the team to break away for meetings, enjoy some delicious, fresh food for lunch, or treat ourselves to an afterwork drink for a company celebration or just soaking up the views over the city.

Having recently moved into our new office at 103 Colmore Row. I can honestly say the experience has been excellent. The team on the first floor are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They are always available to answer any questions, nothing is too much trouble. They create a positively calm and relaxed atmosphere and always have a smile on their faces. All areas are kept extremely clean and tidy, the kitchen area in particular is always so well stocked and ready for use throughout the day. The drinks are absolutely amazing, there is always fresh fruit available and there is never a shortage of cups, glasses, plates and cutlery. I love the effort they go to ensure we are all kept up to date on upcoming events, makes you feel very welcome. I would also like to express my appreciation for the team on the 18th floor who are very attentive and provide an extremely relaxed and pleasant atmosphere to relax after work. The whole building has a very positive vibe about the place, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for office space. It’s such a friendly place to work and I’m very happy here.

Our team chose x+why because the organisation shares our environmental and social values as a fellow B-Corp. They also provide a wonderful office space in a very cool location! We benefit greatly from sharing x+why in Whitechapel with other purposeful businesses to network with. The team also wanted to be based in an office that could easily provide carbon footprint data for our environmental reporting
