Hybrid Horizons

Combining traditional office rentals with the perks of a co-working space is bringing the heart of community together with the practicalities of the world of work. In an environment that feels increasingly uncertain, many companies are beginning to prioritise the adaptability that monthly rolling contracts provide over fixed long-term leases.

At x+why, we understand the importance of community and environment to affect employee health and wellbeing. All of our flexible hybrid workspaces are designed with this in mind. At our West London Chiswick workspace, the triple height reception sets the tone for the whole office design, which has floor to ceiling glazing on all sides.

A dramatic mezzanine at the entrance to the second floor provides the perfect spot for break-outs and socialising and the inspiring Mission Room has amphitheater style seating looking on to it, which operate individually or as one impressive events space. Each of our office spaces is kitted with access to eco-friendly ventilation methods, plenty of natural lighting, biophilic design and locally and environmentally sourced furniture.

As well as offering flexible workspace memberships, we also provide full access to a host of amenities including floor to ceiling glazing on all sides providing high levels of natural light, secure cycle storage, showers, phone booths and creative breakout areas, as well as shared and private kitchens - rolling the benefits of the home and hybrid office into one easy to manage, customised package.

Curated For Community

{{divider}}

X+Why are on a mission to unite, inspire and amplify purpose-driven businesses, and in doing so, create a supportive community of likeminded enterprise, committed to using their creativity and skills to making the world a more collaborative, sustainable and socially responsible place to live.

{{divider}}

This is what sets our flexible workspaces apart from the rest. Whereas many workspaces operate from an outdated, competitive, ‘survival of the fittest’ mentality, by drawing businesses together under a common theme and goal, we foster a collaborative ‘survival of the fairest approach’ - with many young start-ups harnessing the WhyB programming and going on to receive B Corporation certification as a result.

The backbone of a strong community has always been: a shared purpose, rituals, story-telling, connectedness, trust, interaction, identity and shared experiences. We achieve this through 3 key Cornerstones: conversation, collaboration, and fun! At our spaces, you and your team are not just another cog in the wheel of an uninspired building, but a fundamental part of our greater brand mission. And you will find us wholly unashamed of our grand visions for actively implementing a new paradigm of responsible capitalism globally.

X+why have a host of flexible workspaces in various locations to choose from, meaning that there is something to suit every individual and company of any size. Statistically the majority of us will spend most of our lives at work (and asleep), making it vital that we nurture spaces like these, in order to nurture ourselves as individuals, and create positive systemic change from the roots up.
