Join us for an inspiring night of craftivism, entrepreneurship, and intelligent conversation. As well as some drinks, nibbles and laughter.
x+why member, Sarah Corbett, founder of the global Craftivist Collective, will be launching the paperback version of her latest book, ‘How to be a Craftivist: the art of gentle protest’, by recording a live podcast with x+why CEO, Rupert Dean. This will be the first in the x+why podcast series ‘Why’s Words’ - and you are invited to be a part of our audience.
Sarah and Rupert will discuss Sarah’s journey from burnt-out-activist, tired of marching, to a more respectful and award-winning activist, using craft to contemplate global issues, start conversations as well as change laws, business policies, hearts and minds . They will explore the power of purpose in today’s world and how entrepreneurs, movements and leaders should be using it for positive impact, as well as responsible profit. Sarah will use her own experiences and stories, successes and failures, to help inspire, motivate and educate aspiring, and existing, activists, entrepreneurs, and dreamers.
Recently described by the Observer as “This is mindful activism… thought out, strategic and engaging”, the book promises to make an impact. Come and get your copy signed, and hear from Sarah herself.
